Terms & Conditions

The registration form and film submissions will open on April 1st, 2026, and close on May 15th, 2026.
Film submission is open to the public.
Registration is free of charge.
The submitted film has not been screened at a previous Sewon Screening.
All participating films will undergo a curation and selection phase.
Accepted film categories include short films in fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental forms.
The film can be a silent movie.
The films must have been produced between 2025 and 2026
Film has a maximum duration of 30 minutes.
Film must use double subtitles in Indonesian and English in hardsub format (subtitles are included in the film). Sewon Screening does not accept softsub formats such as .srt and other similar formats.
The maximum aspect ratio accepted is 16:9. Films with anamorphic aspect ratio (2.35:1), vertical format, or other specifications are allowed, provided they are adjusted into 16:9 frames through editing. If the film has more than one aspect ratio, please list them all in the form.
The accepted audio format is stereo. Sewon Screening does not accept mono or surround audio formats.
Participants are responsible for the originality of the film material and must include a letter of permission from the copyright holder if using non-original material.
Both selected and non-selected participants will receive further information from the Sewon Screening 12 committee via Email. (Note: Only participants who provide a valid, active, and reachable email address in the form will be contacted).
If a film is selected, the participant must perform a re-verification by completing a letter of agreement containing film data, agreement clauses, and a signature.
Selected participants are required to send at least one representative (preferably the Director or Producer) to attend Sewon Screening 12 for a post-screening discussion session.

Mandatory Registration Documents
In the “ Film File Submission Link” field in the form, participants must submit a Google Drive folder with the name “(Original Film Title) _ BERKAS FILM _ SEWON SCREENING 12” (access set in viewer mode for anyone with the link) that already contains the following documents:

Original Film File (preferred resolution maximum 4K and minimum 1080p, with a bitrate preference of minimum 50mbps and maximum 100mbps).
Preview Film Files, with a watermark of the production house, institution, or the text “for preview only” and such-like.
Trailer (preferred to have at least 1080p resolution).
Official Movie Poster (size 2:3/resolution 1280x1920, good quality image and not blurry).
Still Photo (3 shots from the movie that are considered to represent the film ideally in the Sewon Screening publication).
Director's photo (1 piece, portrait, a photo with an aspect ratio of 2:3, a good quality image and no blurry).
Photo ID of Director & Producer (ID can be in the form of KTP or KTM).
Director and Producer Profile (includes brief description, filmography, phone number, email and social media).
Copyright Statement (optional, only included in Google Drive if there are audio or visual assets whose copyright is owned by a third party other than the filmmaker).
Press Kit (includes crew and cast data, if any, optional).

If there are any violations of the terms and conditions that are absolute (not optional) in the submission of film files, participants will be disqualified.
