Grebek Massal Solidifies Sewon Screening Ties with Yogyakarta Film Communities

Yogyakarta, July 20, 2025 – Serving as the highlight of the Grebek Komunitas series, Grebek Massal wrapped up the outreach program with a grand film screening event. In collaboration with Sender Coffee, the event welcomed local film communities and the general public from Yogyakarta to enjoy an evening of screenings and networking. This gathering offered a valuable space for young filmmakers to build connections and explore future collaborations.

Among the films screened were “Indie Bung!!” by Yuleo Rizky Catur Pamungkas, “The Inevitable Tiring Situation” by Dazrie Permana, and “Final Draft” by Erlangga Radhikza. Attendees remained engaged throughout the entire screening, showing great appreciation for the selection.

“Networking is essentially about getting to know one another, with a long-term goal of exchanging insights and learning between fellow filmmakers,” shared Nataya Putri Arsad and Alifvya Zahra, members of the Sewon Screening 11 organizing committee. “From our experience during Grebek Komunitas, we’ve been looking for the most effective ways to foster those connections one of which was preparing question cards to spark conversations among attendees.”
