About Kelas Bunga Matahari

Kelas Bunga Matahari (KBM) is a Sewon Screening's Non-Screening Education program from era to era that provides an exclusive space for participants to learn and discuss with film criticism speakers. This program is expected to produce participants who can be responsible with criticism work, can think critically in analyzing films, and know how to distribute their criticism work.

Terms & Conditions

1. KBM participants are open to the public and are willing to attend the entire series of Kelas Bunga Matahari activities online September 15 to 17, 2025 and offline September 23 to 25, 2025, via zoom meet for online and at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta for offline.
2. KBM participants are willing to take KBM activities seriously online and offline.
3. KBM participants were able to produce film criticism works, from what they had learned in the Kelas Bunga Matahari, and could be released on the last day of the Sewon Screening 11 main event.
4. Registration and submission of KBM works from June 25 to July 14.
5. Submissions can be in the form of reviews, studies, or critiques of a film.
6. Submissions must be original works created by the participants.
7. Submissions should be written in Indonesian and/or English.
8. The format of the submission is PDF.
9. Submissions will be curated by presenters and organisers.
