“Resistance” which is a call to fight against abnormality and demand change brings Sewon Screening together with Bahasinema in the Layar Tandang Bandung program that screens curated films at the Hallway Space Bandung screening room. This program celebrates those who argue but are powerless, who persevere despite living under binding and entrenched demands. We will see the courageous attempts to speak out against what stands proudly, yet suffocatingly, from screens to public spaces, bodies that refuse to be forgotten, used, or controlled. Some assemble their existence from digital fragments, while others endure the absurdity of relationships and loss. When the shadows of the direction do not give room, personal choice is not just a will, but the courage to violate what is considered absolute.
