About Forum Komunitas

Forum Komunitas (FORKOM) is one of the non-screening programs in the Sewon Screening 11 event series. This program is designed to bring together communities from diverse backgrounds, build relationships between community members, and provide a space to discuss and share ideas. These meetings are held based on the sequence of event themes and in line with the vision carried by Sewon Screening 11.

Terms & Conditions

1. The registered community is a film community/film festival/film organisation and the like.
2. Community participants must be members of the registered community.
3. Each community is required to participate in the entire series of Sewon Screening 11 activities.
4. Each community is expected to remain conducive and active during the implementation of the FORKOM Sewon Screening 11 event.
5. Each community is required to register on the online form provided by the committee.
6. Sharp weapons, drugs, and other dangerous items are strictly prohibited.
7. Immoral behaviour and sexual harassment are strictly prohibited.
8. Any form of damage or vandalism to the Sewon Screening 11 facilities, venue, operation, or lodging is prohibited.

Notes

1. Sewon Screening 11 will provide a Guest House to accommodate two delegates from each registered community. For communities who wish to bring more than two delegates, a fee of Rp 15,000 per day will be charged to each additional delegate with a maximum of three additional delegates per community (five delegates per community) for accommodation at the Sewon Screening 11 Guest House. If the number of delegates that the community wishes to bring is more than five delegates, then the community is welcome to contact the Forkom committee regarding the availability of Sewon Screening 11 Guest House slots, as well as other lodgings affiliated with Sewon Screening 11 on the date (d+week of form closing). We apologise profusely for community friends based in Jogja as the Sewon Screening 11 Guest House will be maximised to accommodate community friends outside Jogja. However, Guest House Sewon Screening 11 is very open to all communities, both based in Jogja and outside Jogja to gather, talk, discuss, exchange ideas, and other activities aimed at building relationships between communities.
2. Each forum prepares a short film to be curated in the Layar Komunitas programme that is part of the Layar Utama Sewon Screening 11 programme, with the same theme, Resistance.
3. ​​If selected to be part of the Forum Komunitas, you will have the opportunity to participate in Layar Komunitas submissions and the Sewon Short Film Fund. Sewon Short Film Fund (SSFF) is a fiction short film funding programme by Sewon Screening 11 for registered communities in the Sewon Screening 11 forum. The programme aims to find and support short film ideas that bring narrative and cinematic novelty to the Indonesian film ecosystem. The duration of the submitted film must be between 10-25 minutes, with a minimum core team consisting of a Director, Producer, and Screenwriter all Indonesian citizens (ID Card / Student Card) and have been involved in one short film production (include a link). The proposed Director and Producer must be consistent until the end of the competition, and the entire team must be able to develop a production budget.
